Facilities

We offer excellent facilities and welcome many different groups including schools, youth groups, church groups and families.

Our experienced staff and management at Alexandra Adventure Resort pride themselves on keeping to a very high standard to ensure your stay is a wonderful experience.

There are a number of outdoor recreation facilities including a large lake for canoeing.
Paddles, helmets and life jackets are available for all water sports.

The accommodation rooms are all centrally heated and air-conditioned. There is a huge undercover area, spacious multi-purpose hall and a large Dining room which can also be used as a conference room.  The multi-purpose hall is equipped with overhead projector, speakers and microphone. Access to Netflix is also available to stream movies.
The Dining room also has a TV with access to Netflix and a DVD player.

The communal toilet blocks have lots of hot water to service the four showers in both the male and female blocks. The Kitchen suits all cooking needs with combi ovens, large fridge, freezer, commercial dishwashers, crockery/cutlery and pots/pans for self-catered groups.

DINING ROOM
Our dining room seats 130 people and is a relaxing place to enjoy our freshly prepared home cooked meals or your own self-catered meals. With a large number of chairs and fold-up tables, this room can be transformed into a multi-purpose use area. Hot drink facilities, along with a fridge and PA system are also available in this room for your convenience.

UNDERCOVER AREA
Our huge undercover area is fantastic for all groups, large and small and is a great shelter area on any wet or sunny day. It can seat up to 180 people for meals.

LARGE MULTI PURPOSE HALL
This spacious Main hall accommodates up to 200 people and can be used for a variety of purposes. As it's fully equipped with an overhead projector, speakers, microphone and a portable whiteboard, This building is perfect for teaching, live music, watching a movie, holding a chapel service or playing some exciting indoor games!
It's also soundproof and fully carpeted with split systems for comfort. ​Fantastic for those large groups or rainy days.

CAMPFIRE PIT
An ideal place for relaxing nights, where groups can gather for an old fashioned ‘sing-a-long’, share some stories, toast marshmallows (bring these along with you) or just sit and enjoy the warmth and scenic views.

BASKETBALL & TENNIS COURT 
Full-size synthetic grass basketball and tennis court. Located near the Dining room, it is the perfect place for children to play whilst supervisors or parents sit and watch. Sports and games equipment are available onsite.

​SPORTS OVAL
This large flat grassed area is a great space to run around on.
​There are both a football & soccer oval with a cricket pitch located in the middle.
Beach Volleyball is located to the side of the oval which is great for free time use.
We provide balls and sporting equipment for all areas.
